Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) last week announced the opening of Ginger Durgapur, Rajbandh.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Deepika Rao, Executive Vice President– New Businesses, Hotel Openings & Corporate Communications, IHCL, said, “This opening is in line with IHCL’s steadfast commitment to East India. Nestled in the heart of Rajbandh, the 55-room Ginger Durgapur is strategically positioned for convenience, just a brief drive from the airport and key commercial centers. The hotel features Qmin, the signature all-day diner presenting a delightful array of global and local favorites, a welcoming bar, and a state-of-the-art fitness centre. The hotel also offers five spacious banquet spaces, perfect to host meetings and social events.
Durgapur is a planned integrated industrial city lying on the banks of the Damodar River. It is home to many large-scale manufacturing facilities and is also an emerging IT and real estate hub.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 10 hotels including 5 under development, across Taj, Vivanta, SeleQtions, and Ginger brands in West Bengal.
