The crystal-clear and calm waters of Santa Eulalia, in iconic Ibiza, welcome the new Meliá Ibiza, which opened its doors on 1 May after an exquisite repositioning process that has transformed the existing hotel (Sol Beach House Ibiza).

With a strong combination of avant-garde design and Ibizan tradition, the result is a hotel that encourages disconnection and relaxation, offering an incredible well-being and dining experience for adults only.

Its unequalled location is an oasis of peace, thanks to the serenity of the Mediterranean, the good climate, and the stunning landscapes and sunsets of the bay. It offers an alternative Ibiza that revolves around quality and tranquillity; this location is also connected to Ibiza's energetic and vibrant nightlife and its most famous beaches, so the balance between fun and relaxation is accessible to all.

This hotel offers 285 rooms and features 12 different typologies ranging from rooms for couples with garden or beach views to The Level Master Suite Sea View, a room with a terrace and outdoor hydro-massage, available for guests choosing the superior and exclusive The Level service. Meliá Ibiza offers four restaurants, a rooftop with unique views.

Body and mind balance, inspired by Thai techniques

Meliá Ibiza is the epitome of Santa Eulalia's very own tranquile state. From its design to its facilities, the hotel is an invitation to embrace wellness and self-connection. One of this hotel's signature experiences is the outdoor water circuit, one-of-a-kind in Ibiza's hotel scene.

Together with the array of options available in the spa managed by Thai Room, guests will be able to enjoy physical and mental well-being treatments. Finally, there will also be activities to activate the body physically, such as yoga and water sports.

A world of delicacies in Meliá Ibiza's unique flavours

The top culinary experiences at Meliá Ibiza will impress every palate. Traditional recipes meet the chef's innovative techniques to produce dishes where pleasure and quality are found in every bite.

The four restaurants offer different experiences according to the time of day and preference of each guest. Guests can start the day with Mosaico's excellent breakfast, an all-day dining restaurant where international and national cuisines intertwine in a wide variety of dishes and flavours. To follow, a typical Mediterranean meal at Cape Nao, with the finest fresh ingredients. Finally, Llum is the perfect place for dinner: a rooftop grill restaurant specialising in grilled meats, featuring unique views of the Ibizan sunset.

Should guests prefer a moment of relaxation, Boreal Lobby Bar offers smoothies and cocktails for a good time with friends.

An elevated experience thanks to The Level

Improving its guests' experiences and enhancing the setting where it is located, Meliá Hotels & Resorts' brings its exclusive The Level concept to the island, a distinctive VIP service where guests can enjoy greater personalisation and attention to detail during their stay. The Level guests enjoy a separate entrance building and car park, providing greater privacy and exclusivity. Furthermore, the hotel's impressive rooftop features an exclusive area for The Level guests throughout the day, including a private swimming pool, until the evening when it is available to the general public with the Llum restaurant.

Nurturing the Mediterranean from the Mediterranean

To celebrate the opening of this hotel with such a strong connection to its exceptional location by the Mediterranean Sea, Meliá Ibiza will partner during its first active season with Gravity Wave, the social impact company whose mission is to achieve a plastic-free ocean while generating new solutions to give a second use to this waste. This partnership aims to generate a beneficial impact for Meliá Ibiza's environment and society through the care of the sea, the reuse of waste and the circular economy.

These objectives are very much in line with those of Meliá Hotels International that provides all of its hotels with the necessary tools to progress in decarbonisation and the consolidation of more environmentally responsible tourism. Its cornerstones include creating sustainable value for all its stakeholders from the planet, people, the community and the company's perspective. A strategy that has reinforced the hotel chain's leadership in sustainable initiatives over the years.

The social impact company, Gravity Wave, and the hotel chain will celebrate Meliá Ibiza's first season by removing three tonnes of plastic from the Mediterranean Sea and its harbours, waste that will be used to create new objects for the hotel's use and that can, therefore, be given a new life.
