According to the Q4 2023 Latin America Construction Pipeline Trend Report from Lodging Econometrics (LE), projects and room counts in the region's total construction pipeline each increased by 11% each year-over-year (YOY) to stand at 594 projects and 97,679 rooms at the close of the quarter.
In the Latin America Construction Pipeline Trend Report from Lodging Econometrics (LE), analysts report the total construction pipeline stands at 579 projects/95,144 rooms at the close of Q3 2023.
Countries with the most projects in the construction pipeline include Mexico with 213 projects/33,853 rooms. Next is Brazil with 85 projects/14,772 rooms, the Dominican Republic with 33 projects/7,071 rooms, Peru with 27 projects/3,322 rooms, and Argentina with 18 projects/1,932 rooms.
The Latin America hotel construction pipeline, at the close of Q1 2023, stands at 546 projects/90,139 rooms, however, down slightly 3% by projects and 2% by rooms year-over-year (YOY).
