Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the signing of an agreement to welcome Palacio Provincial to Curio Collection by Hilton. The hotel is owned by Hostal El Convento and managed by International Hospitality Enterprises (IHE).
Located within the Old San Juan Historic District, the oldest European settlement in Puerto Rico and the United States, the 43-room boutique hotel is incomparably situated in the heart of the city inside an early 19th century building full of rich diplomatic history dating back to 1838. In 2021, Palacio Provincial opened its doors following a meticulous restoration to usher in a new era for this historic gem, combining timeless elegance with modern luxury.
