Pär Christiansen has been appointed new Chief Financial Officer for Scandic Hotels Group (publ). Pär will start his new position March 1 and will be a member of Scandic’s Executive Committee. Åsa Wirén, who is currently Chief Financial Officer at Scandic Hotels Group, will leave Scandic.
Scandic has appointed Pär Christiansen as new CFO for Scandic Hotels Group. Pär has extensive experience from management positions within financial, strategic and operative functions at large international companies including Euroflorist, SAS and Clas Ohlson. Åsa Wirén, who is currently Scandic’s CFO, will leave Scandic today, January 17.

Most recently, Pär has been CFO at Euroflorist, a company that operates in 11 European countries. Prior to this, he was CFO at Clas Ohlson for around four years, he held management positions at international corporations including Gant, Transcom, MTR and SAS.

During the weeks before Pär starts his new position, Scandic’s President & CEO Jens Mathiesen will act as interim CFO. Pär will start at Scandic on March 1.
