IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) today announced the signing of a new build Crowne Plaza hotel in a location along Mexico City’s famed Avenida de los Insurgentes. The hotel is scheduled to break ground in early 2024 ahead of a planned 2026 opening.
Kimpton Virgilio will be located on 79 Anatole France Street will have 48 rooms, a signature restaurant and a rooftop bar with a pool.
The hotel will be housed within the historic Conjunto Aristos complex, an architectural masterpiece and a Mexico City Heritage Site designed by famed architect José Luis Benlliure Galán.
