Rotana announced today its entry into Senegal with Les Zeniths Arjaan by Rotana. The 150-key property in Dakar will be launched under the Arjaan Hotel Apartments by Rotana brand and is expected to be completed by 2026.
Operating under Accor from the 1st of October 2022, the hotel will undergo a staged refurbishment plan which will see it operate under the Movenpick Hotels & Resorts brand in late 2023.
Opening in early 2021, the 462-key hotel will be located in Diamniadio – a new city developed by the Senegal government, close to Dakar's new Blaise Diagne International Airport, as well as the expanding seaport of Bargny.
Dakar. Hyatt Dakar will become the first Hyatt-branded hotel in Senegal, joining the previously announced Park Hyatt Marrakech and Hyatt Place Taghazout in Morocco, as well as Park Hyatt Zanzibar and Hyatt Regency Arusha in Tanzania.
