Europeans are confident about their travel spending power in 2024 despite the ongoing cost of living pressure across the continent, according to a new report from Accor.
Accor is one of the 141 European companies that achieved an 'A' on climate change out of over 21,000 companies scored. Moreover, Accor has once again demonstrated its leadership on the climate issue by being the only company, among the leading hospitality companies, to be recognized with an 'A'.

Gilda Perez-Alvarado and Maxime d'Angeac are appointed Chief Executive Officer and Artistic Director of Orient Express respectively. Management of Orient Express will be based in Paris. The complex, located at 13 Jana Pawla II Avenue, will consist of two buildings connected by an above-ground walkway, Movenpick Hotel Gdynia with 176 rooms, and Waterhall Residence apartments.
As of September, Accor has already inked management agreements for a total of 42 properties, adding over 11,000 keys to its portfolio. The outlook for the remainder of 2023 includes plans to sign an additional 20 projects, bringing a 15,000+ total new keys to the region.
