Atwell Suites today announced the opening of its first Texas property in Austin. Atwell Suites Austin Airport marks the third U.S. open property for the brand, following debuts in Miami and Denver.
Both hotels are projected to open in mid-late 2024 and join a rapidly expanding pipeline that will bring 35 additional properties and more than 3,500 rooms to the U.S. in the coming years.
The newest all-suites brand by IHG Hotels & Resorts unveils first prototype hotel
IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) and Sunview Companies officially opened the world’s first Atwell Suites property with the 90-room Atwell Suites Miami Brickell. The dual-branded hotel is in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood and situated on the top floors of the building shared with the Hotel Indigo Miami Brickell, which opened in March 2021.
The Atwell Suites Austin Airport is owned and managed by Bob & Son, Ltd and is the third hotel underway for the brand, joining hotels currently under construction in Miami and Denver. There are currently more than 20 properties in IHG’s US pipeline for the brand.
IHG Hotels & Resorts announced yesterday that the second Atwell Suites hotel is now under construction in Denver, owned by Kendall Combs and KJ Hotel Properties. The new Colorado property follows the Atwell Suites Miami Brickell, which is expected to open later this year.
Expected to open by summer 2021, the first Atwell Suites will be a 90-room hotel located in Brickell, an urban neighborhood home to Miami and South Florida's financial district, as well as many foreign consulates.
