JLL Valuation Advisory announced yesterday that it has hired structured finance specialist John Oates to join its Renewable Energy Valuation team as a Managing Director to help build out a best-in-class infrastructure platform.
In their new roles, Quinn will co-lead the Orlando capital markets office alongside Senior Managing Director Brad Peterson, and Weaver will join Senior Managing Director Matt Mitchell as the Tampa capital markets office co-lead.
Childs joins JLL from BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he was part of the Alternative Markets team specialising in hotels and serviced apartments. He brings significant expertise in hotel development, occupational leases, franchise and management contracts. Childs previously worked at JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group from 2003 to 2006.
Linus Ericsson takes the position after three years as Head of JLL’s Debt & Financial Advisory team in Sweden.
In his new role Christian will work with clients with cross-border real estate portfolios across all sectors to provide valuation advisory across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. He most recently led JLL's retail valuation advisory team in the UK and for the EMEA region which he established in 2008.
Mike Batchelor, has been named JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group's Asia CEO. Mr Batchelor, who has been Managing Director, Investment Sales Asia since 2007, will succeed Scott Hetherington, who is stepping into the role of Chairman.

Tatiana Veller brings extensive experience in both the industry and market. She started her career over 15 years ago working in Hotel and Restaurant operations worldwide. In 2007 Tatiana set up and ran for seven years the Russia & CIS office of a boutique international hotel consultancy, HVS.
