San Francisco based Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants today announced several new hires to its development team, which will provide a solid foundation to move quickly on acquisition and management opportunities across the country.
Playa Hotels & Resorts announced today that Omar Palacios has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Palacios joins Playa following eleven years at Kerzner International Limited, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for One&Only Resorts, Kerzner's luxury hotel brand.
HEI Hotels & Resorts, a rapidly growing hotel ownership and operating company, announced that it has acquired the 258-room Le Meridien Dallas North in Texas for an undisclosed amount. The property becomes HEI's 36th owned hotel, fourth hotel acquisition of 2010, and their fourth hotel under Starwood's growing Le Meridien brand.
