DG Hotels Ventures, LLC, an affiliate of Pacific Hospitality Group Ventures, Inc.  (PHG) today announced the opening of the 256-room dual-branded AC Hotel and Residence Inn Dallas by the Galleria, as well as the purchase of the property from Atlantic Hotels Group.

Located in the heart of Dallas Midtown, the five-floor property boasts more than 17,000 square feet of combined meeting space and anchors a new $3.5 billion, mixed-use development project that includes more than 6.5 million square feet of office space, 9,000 residential units and more than one million square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment space.

“The AC Hotel and Residence Inn Dallas by the Galleria is our company’s first hotel in Texas and our first dual-branded Marriott property,” said Tim Busch, CEO and founder of PHG. “We are excited to offer a hotel that reflects the growing entrepreneurial-minded business scene in the Dallas Fort Worth area. This property offers two unique and complementary options that leisure and business travelers, alike, will appreciate – a stylish, seamless experience at AC, or comforts of a home away from home at Residence Inn.”

Designed to provide guests with more options and flexibility, AC Hotel and Residence Inn Dallas by the Galleria offer different experiences for different needs. The AC Hotel, which caters more to shorter stays, features European-inspired design with neutral tones, inviting furnishings and ambient lighting to reflect the uniqueness and character of its urban Dallas location. The award-winning Kevin Barry Fine Art curated the locally-inspired modern artwork pieces that hang throughout the hotel.

AC Hotel Dallas by the Galleria offers 140 carefully-curated guest rooms that feature a sleek European style along with workstations and flat-panel TVs. Guests can stop by the AC Kitchen for a European-inspired breakfast featuring freshly baked croissants, sliced prosciutto and cheese, savory and sweet breakfast tarts, yogurts and fresh fruit. In the evening, the AC Lounge in the hotel lobby offers the AC Signature Gin Tonic, Spanish wines, local microbrews and crafted cocktails created with locally distilled liquors. Guests can also order from a tapas menu, which features small plates with a Spanish flair.

Residence Inn Dallas by the Galleria offers 116 suites designed for longer-stay guests. Every guest room is a suite with studio, one- and two-bedroom options that afford extended stay guests a more spacious and functional living space. Each suite comes with fully equipped kitchens. Additional amenities for this pet-friendly hotel include a barbeque and picnic area, complementary buffet breakfast, a grocery delivery service, housekeeping service, an on-site laundry area, a safe deposit box at the front desk and valet dry cleaning.

Residence Inn Dallas by the Galleria also offers guests the chance to “run like a local” with mapped runs for guests to use during their stay. Guests can use the MapMyFitness app for instant access to curated running routes created specifically for Residence Inn guests.

The fusion of the two brands means that guests of the AC Hotel and Residence Inn Dallas by the Galleria hotel will have access to the best of both brands, such as guest laundry facilities at the Residence Inn, and the co-working space / night-time lounge at the AC Lounge, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center, outdoor pool and complimentary Wi-Fi.

In addition to the AC Hotel and Residence Inn Dallas by the Galleria, PHG currently owns through affiliates three other AC Hotels in the U.S., including AC Hotel Irvine, AC Hotel New Orleans Bourbon/French Quarter Area and AC Hotel Phoenix/Tempe Downtown.
