Seatrade Cruise Global, the leading global business-to-business event for the cruise industry, announces the Professional Women in Cruise Brunch on Thursday 16 March. In collaboration with Women's International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA), the event will introduce a new format that allows guests to network with peers and hear from a panel of extraordinary women in the cruise industry. A portion of the proceeds from this brunch will be donated to Mercy Ships, Seatrade Cruise Global's non-profit partner.
"WISTA is a major player in attracting more women to the industry and supporting women in management positions," shares Robyn Duda, Portfolio Director for Seatrade Cruise Global. "We are thrilled to announce Seatrade's partnership with the organization for what will surely be a highlight of 2017 Seatrade Cruise Global this 13-16 March."
The Professional Women in Cruise Brunch will take place in Room 220/221 on the second level of the Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center. The panel of speakers includes the following:
- Peg Buchan, Assistant Port Director, Port Everglades Florida
- Ginger Garte, Americas Environmental & Sustainability Director, Lloyd's Register Marine and Offshore
- Helen Panagos, Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Crystal Air Cruises Destination Experiences & Crystal Residences
- Anna Silva, Manager of Commercial Port Operations and Budgeting, Carnival Cruise Line
The brunch will take place from 11 am to 1 pm and admission is $70 for WISTA members, $80 for non WISTA members. Registering for the Professional Women in Cruise Brunch will also include access to the show floor for three days. Press registration is open to journalists intending to report on the convention's exhibition and conference sessions. Journalists are asked to fill out the registration form and convention organizers will issue a complimentary pass once their credentials have been verified and approved. Attendees are able to customize their conference and trade show experience by choosing from packages that best suit their business needs.
