ASSA ABLOY Hospitality announces the launch of its new Certified Partnership Program, allowing  third-party mobile application and solutions providers to integrate mobile access functionality into their existing mobile-based solutions for hoteliers. ASSA ABLOY Hospitality Certified Partnership Program LogoASSA ABLOY Hospitality developed the Certified Partner program to enhance the functionality of third-party applications and also to make it more convenient for hoteliers to have all of their mobile functionality combined into a single app or solution. It gives guests a greater reason to download the hotel’s mobile app, as it provides a convenient and secure way to access their room without the need to carry a keycard. This provides the hotel with an added opportunity to promote other services and amenities, which will in turn drive revenue. It also makes it easier and simpler for hotels to implement and streamline their mobile services.

“As smartphones get even smarter, tech-savvy consumers increasingly expect this kind of functionality when traveling,” says Gard Gabrielsen, Global Product Director / Mobile Access & Credentials at ASSA ABLOY Hospitality. “Recent industry research shows that more than 70 percent of travelers would be likely to use their smartphone to check in and bypass the front desk.”

ASSA ABLOY Hospitality’s Mobile Access technology has been tested and proven, having been successfully deployed at properties around the globe, and integrations have been developed with multiple Certified Partners worldwide.
