Los Angeles, Oct 8 (Reuters) - U.S. hotel room revenue fell in the week to Oct. 4, ending a quarter that has shown signs of an industry recovery on a down note, industry data showed on Wednesday. Revenue per available room fell 1.5 percent from a year earlier to $49.99 in the week to Oct. 4, tracking firm Smith Travel Research reported.
