Red Roof Inn has promoted Regional Vice President, Dan Russell to Senior Vice President of Operations, effective immediately. Russell will oversee operations including all initiatives relative to quality, sales and finance for District 1 and report directly to Red Roof President, Andrew Alexander.

Russell started his career as a night auditor at the brand's Flint, Michigan property. He is a six time recipient of the Red Roof Sales Award of Distinction, serves on Red Roof's esteemed Manager's Council and was named GM of the Year in 1994. He is active in his community as a volunteer with Toys for Tots and Mott's Children's Hospital. In 2014, Russell will celebrate his 30th anniversary with Red Roof Inn.
