• Crowne Plaza Mawson Lakes Hotel   

IHG Hotels & Resorts, Pelligra Group, and ONE7 announced the elevated positioning of their upcoming hotel in Adelaide, which is slated to open its doors in 2024.

Originally announced as a 130-room Holiday Inn & Suites, the Mawson Lakes property in Adelaide has undergone a transformation during the development phase and is now positioned in the upscale space, with higher than anticipated demand coming from corporate, leisure, and conference and event customers.

The decision has, therefore, been made to elevate and rebrand the hotel as Crowne Plaza Mawson Lakes, reflecting the higher-end quality of the build and the location's demand drivers in the meetings and events space.

The hotel will open in the second half of 2024 and now features 155 rooms, three meeting spaces across 442 sqm, a fitness center, and a bar and restaurant.

Pelligra Group, currently the owner of Holiday Inn Werribee, Holiday Inn Dandenong, and Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport, is set to add three more IHG-branded hotels to its portfolio, including the soon-to-open Crowne Plaza Carlton in 2024, along with Crowne Plaza Mawson Lakes and Holiday Inn Richmond.
