Located on Jalan Ahmad Yani, within Surabaya's commercial district, Mövenpick Hotel Surabaya City is surrounded by shopping malls, offices, exhibition centres, educational establishments, medical facilities and more and is located only a 30-minute drive from Juanda International Airport.

"We are delighted to introduce Mövenpick Hotel Surabaya City to Surabaya. This world renowned brand has a global reputation for its innovative culinary offerings, heartfelt service and mindful sustainability. This makes it the perfect fit for Indonesia, and I am confident that this impressive hotel will appeal to local guests and international visitors alike. We will continue to seek new opportunities to bring Mövenpick's high standards of hospitality to more parts of the country in future," said Garth Simmons, Chief Executive Officer of Accor's Premium, Midscale and Economy Division Asia.

The hotel features 243 rooms and suites, ranging from the 33-square-metre Superior Rooms to the 182-square-metre Presidential Suite, all of which come fitted with 55-inch LED HD TVs. Guests can unwind in the elevated outdoor infinity swimming pool, fully-equipped fitness centre and soothing spa. In addition, meeting planners can take advantage of six function spaces with integrated screens and audio-visual technology, the largest of which can accommodate up to 750 delegates.

Patita Restaurant is an elegant all-day dining concept that will showcase creative new flavours and nourishing bites, while the lively Lobby Lounge offers refreshments throughout the day. Guests can enjoy a series of Healthy Shots which will be offered every morning, blending fresh tropical fruits and vegetables. The brand's signature daily Chocolate Hour will feature a sublime selection of handcrafted sweet treats and live demonstrations from the hotel's talented chefs. Through a collaborative effort with local chocolate farmers and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from seven cities in East Java, the hotel has transformed local ingredients into a delightful selection of authentic premium chocolate treats. These offerings are guaranteed to elevate the Chocolate Hour experience, turning it into an exquisitely delicious affair.

Mövenpick Hotel Surabaya City supports local cultural initiatives such as #BanggaBuatanIndonesia and #BeliKreatifLokal, which highlight the use of locally-made products. The property has also removed all single-use plastics from guest areas as part of its mindful sustainability initiatives.

Mövenpick Hotel Surabaya City is now the second Mövenpick-branded property in Indonesia, following Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali. The opening of this property is part of a significant expansion strategy for this legendary Swiss brand in Indonesia.
