Accor and Polski Holding Hotelowy Group announced a partnership to implement their first joint venture. Next year, Interferie Hotel Medical Spa Świnoujście, operated by PHH Group, will welcome its first guests under the Mövenpick brand from Accor's portfolio.
After announcing the openings of the first Mövenpick properties in Poland, Świnoujście will be the fifth destination of the leading brand of premium hotels in the country. In addition to urban properties in Wrocław and Poznań, guests will soon be welcomed by mountain resorts in Karpacz and Zakopane. Mövenpick is dynamically conquering the premium hotel market in the entire region of Central and Eastern Europe, primarily in locations of great tourist value, e.g., in Serbia and Hungary, with planned openings in Czechia and Estonia.
– We are happy to partner up with such a thriving group as Polski Holding Hotelowy. We appreciate our partner's commitment to the development of the hotel industry in Poland and believe that our agreement will strengthen the domestic position of both of our groups. We are proud that Polski Holding Hotelowy has chosen our Mövenpick brand for its prestigious facility in Świnoujście. The brand is well-established in Germany and its popularity in Poland is on the rise. This will undoubtedly contribute to increasing the hotel's attractiveness, especially among individual and conference guests – commented Jacek Stasikowski, Development Director Poland, Accor.
Polski Holding Hotelowy Group is the largest hotel group in the country with only Polish capital. Its portfolio currently consists of over 50 properties with nearly six thousand rooms, including hotels with a business and leisure profile located in large and small cities as well as in tourist destinations.
The group will start its partnership with Accor by adding the Interferie Hotel Medical Spa in Świnoujście to the Mövenpick portfolio. In 2024, the property, already under its new brand, will offer its guests, 308 rooms with a restaurant, brewery, café, and an extensive spa and wellness area, making it a great place to relax on the Baltic coast. Clients interested in organizing an event in Świnoujście will appreciate the hotel's well-developed conference centre of seven rooms with a total area of 740 square metres.
– The choice of the Mövenpick brand was not accidental. It fits very well with the services provided by Interferie Medical Spa in Świnoujście.
In addition, our partnership with yet another international chain begins at the very moment when Accor is in the process of building a group of hotels across Europe that will cooperate with facilities offering medical services. As a leisure hotel in a fashionable destination, Mövenpick in Świnoujście will be a great addition to our collection. German guests are one of our main segments in that destination, so we can benefit from Accor's very strong and well-established position in this market. We are convinced that cooperation with such a powerful player will secure a bright future for our facility and further increase the quality of our hotel services by allowing us to welcome guests in the standard of a famous and increasingly popular premium brand – added Gheorghe Marian Cristescu, President of the Board of Polski Holding Hotelowy.
Both Accor and Polski Holding Hotelowy Group do not rule out further joint activities under the partnership that has just been established.
