The HFTP International Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame exists to recognize annually the distinguished industry professionals who have demonstrated outstanding application, implementation and innovation in hospitality technology throughout their careers. Over 50 individuals have been honored with HFTP's highest level of recognition in the area of technology since the award's inception 34 years ago.

In addition to completing the nomination form, each nomination must be accompanied by nomination support materials. These materials should be submitted to the HFTP Communications team by May 1, 2023 (email to publications@hftp.org).

The 2023 inductee(s) will also be honored at HITEC North America this year, taking place June 26-29, 2023 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Registration for HITEC is now open.

Jeff Bzdawka and Jeff Edwards are the 2022 HFTP International Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame inductees, both recognized for their experience and leadership in promoting hospitality innovation and technology. At the time of their awards announcement, Bzdawka served as CEO at Knowland, while Edwards served as senior vice president of Property, Owner and Enterprise Products and Platforms at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).

“I am honored to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, amongst so many accomplished leaders in our industry,” said Bzdawka. “This recognition goes beyond me to the many mentors, peers, colleagues and organizations who have influenced me and supported me along this journey. As a lifelong learner, I strive to continuously grow, and I am thankful to HFTP for giving me a platform to do that as well as help others along the way.”

“Being inducted to the Hall of Fame is a true career honor, as it is a recognition by my industry peers,” said Edwards. “I am pleased to be alongside a group of outstanding professionals, each with their own specialties all culminating in the excellence and progress of the hospitality technology industry.”
