• Brooklyn Bridge Marriott's Sam Ibrahim and New Yorker Hotel's Ann Peterson Join Board of Hotel Association of New York City

The Hotel Association of New York City announced the addition of two new directors today, welcoming hospitality veterans Sam Ibrahim and Ann Peterson to its Board.

Mr. Ibrahim is general manager at the New York Marriott at Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn's largest hotel and meeting space, where he recently oversaw the successful completion of a $50 million renovation.

Ms. Peterson is president and general manager at the New Yorker Hotel where she also recently led a successful renovation and expansion of one of the city's most iconic art deco properties.

Vijay Dandapani, president and CEO, Hotel Association of New York City, said, "Sam Ibrahim and Ann Peterson are well known throughout the industry as accomplished and respected hoteliers. We are pleased to welcome them to our Board and look forward to their outstanding contributions."
